LIMBO MUSIC, S.L. · Last updated: 13 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how LIMBO MUSIC, S.L. ("limbo/", "we") collects and uses personal data through limbomusic.com and in connection with our services.

Note on roles: when you visit our Site, contact us, or are part of a prospective or active business relationship, we are the controller of your data. Separately, when we process personal data inside the platform on behalf of a client (for example, a client's artists or payees), we act as a processor, and the data-protection terms in the client's signed agreement (DPA) apply instead.

1. Who we are

Controller: LIMBO MUSIC, S.L., Carrera de San Jerónimo, 17, Planta 3 (Local), 28014 Madrid, Spain. CIF ESB88632955. Data-protection contact: info@limbomusic.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact and business data you give us (name, company, email, role) via forms or correspondence.
  • Account and verification data if you become a client (credentials, and identity/fiscal data where legally required).
  • Usage and technical data from the Site (device and browser data, IP, and cookies, per our Cookie Notice).
  • Newsletter data: if you sign up for our monthly updates, your email address, the language and the page where you signed up.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

  • To respond to enquiries and manage our relationship with you: performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
  • To provide and secure our services to clients: performance of a contract.
  • To meet legal, accounting, tax and fraud-prevention obligations: legal obligation.
  • To send commercial communications only where permitted or with your consent: consent or legitimate interest. You can opt out at any time.
  • To send our monthly newsletter, if you sign up: your consent, given by submitting the form. We use it only to send the newsletter, not to contact you with commercial proposals. You can unsubscribe from any email or by writing to us.

4. Who we share it with

We use trusted providers acting on our instructions, including cloud hosting on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and payment and communications providers. For the newsletter, the email is stored on Cloudflare and sent through Substack (Substack Inc., USA), which delivers the emails, and it is recorded in our CRM, Attio (Attio Limited). As part of the limbo/ group, data may be shared with our US affiliate, LIMBO MUSIC GROUP, CORP. (Orlando, Florida, USA). We do not sell personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We disclose data to authorities only where legally required.

5. International transfers

Some providers and our US affiliate are outside the European Economic Area. Where we transfer data outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards, in particular the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, with additional measures where needed. Transfers to our US affiliate, LIMBO MUSIC GROUP, CORP., are governed by an intra-group data transfer agreement that incorporates those Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

  • Enquiry and contact data: for the duration of our relationship and a limited period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Accounting, billing and tax records: for the period required by Spanish law (generally up to 6 years).
  • Site/cookie data: per the lifespan set out in the Cookie Notice.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, then deleted.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including access controls, two-factor authentication, and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify incidents as required by law.

8. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection, and withdraw consent at any time, by writing to info@limbomusic.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Spanish data-protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, AEPD, www.aepd.es).

9. Cookies

Our Site uses cookies as described in our Cookie Notice.

10. Changes

We will post updates to this policy on this page.
