What limbo/Royalties
actually does

limbo/Royalties processes streaming and sales data from every connected DSP, calculates per-track and per-release earnings, and turns it into transparent statements your partners can trust. Available in the dashboard and through the API. Independent and in-house, so the numbers are not a black box and your data is never shared.

/
Independent + private

Built and run in-house, private by design. Client royalty data is never exposed to major labels or to venture capital that controls competing analytics platforms.

=
Transparent + auditable

Opening, net and closing balances, per-track and per-release analytics, monthly PDF statements, self-billing invoices, and full sales and cost exports in EU and US CSV. Reconcilable line by line.

+
Master + publishing

limbo/ pays your master (recording) royalties and, if you opt in, collects publishing royalties on your behalf across a wide range of licensed services. Multi-currency, with Spain-based withholding and double-taxation handling.

Why limbo

Why royalties matter
more here

Most distributors run royalties on infrastructure owned by the majors or by VCs. limbo/ does not. That is the whole point.

/
Truly independent

Founder-owned, no major labels, no VCs. The companies you compete with never see your royalty data through us.

What reporting does limbo/ provide?

Opening, net and closing balances, per-track and per-release analytics, and exportable statements: monthly PDF statements, statements of account, self-billing invoices, and full sales and cost exports in both EU and US CSV formats. Everything is auditable and reconcilable line by line.

Does limbo/ support multiple currencies?

Yes. limbo/Royalties supports multi-currency royalty reporting and payouts, which is essential for labels and distributors operating across territories with artists and partners in different regions.

How are royalties paid out?

From your available balance, through payment requests in the platform, with self-billing invoices generated for you. limbo/ is based in Spain and handles withholding and double-taxation treatment as required by law. The exact terms are set in your agreement.

Is royalty reporting part of the platform or a separate product?

It is the limbo/Royalties Music Block, and it works with the rest of the stack: distribution, the API and white-label. Take only the blocks you need.
